High ceilings and light, airy spaces make the Perspective Apartments a place to enjoy living
The words space' and freedom' are not always associated with modern apartment dwelling. However, by emphasising sun, views and spaciousness, some inner-city developments have begun to embrace these qualities.
Just a short walk from both Ponsonby and the Viaduct Harbour, the Perspective Apartments a Landplan Growth Estates development were conceived as executive residences, says Landplan director, Andrew Jarvie.
"As such, emphasis was placed on contemporary design and high quality finishes. Structurally, each apartment has been designed as a series of platforms, open to sun and views. Inter-apartment privacy is ensured by concrete block walls with acoustic insulation. Acoustic underlay was also used under all hard surfaces," he says.
Since its inception in 1994, Landplan has been the property adviser on recent projects such as the Meridian in Dunedin, Courtenay Central in Wellington, Barrington Mall in Christchurch and Eden Quarter and Eden Central in Auckland.
