Part of the art of furniture design is creating pieces that will retain their good looks for years to come. This sense of craftsmanship applies in terms of both strength of construction and enduring style.

Forgecraft designs and creates indoor and outdoor wrought iron furniture from the contemporary to the traditional, says managing director Mark Morphy.

While Forgecraft's pieces range from the classic to the cutting-edge, the furniture is still created by skilled New Zealand artisans, using traditional blacksmithing techniques passed down over 500 years.

"Our attention to detail ensures years of reliable service from all our products," Morphy says. "Our indoor-outdoor range, for example, is Hot Dip galvanized before a client's desired custom finish is applied."
