Nouveau Kitchens is an affordable modular system from Mitre 10 that allows you to mix and match cabinetry, appliances and accessories to meet your particular kitchen requirements.

The first step in the process is to take precise measurements of your kitchen area before paying a visit to Mitre 10 to pick up a special planning grid and brochure. This contains information to help you work out the best layout for your space. It also includes a list of important design requirements.

Once you have a draft plan for your kitchen, it's time to make an appointment for a free consultation. One of Mitre 10's expert consultants will then create your kitchen using the CAD computer system. This allows you to view your kitchen from any angle and make adjustments. For example, you may wish to alter the layout, try different handles or add extra features such as a wine rack.

With the Nouveau Kitchens system, you can choose between 35 cabinet unit options and 13 Bestwood Melamine door colours. For durability, doors are sealed with tough 2mm PVC.

The system also offers Decorama high-pressure laminate tops in a choice of colours; fully adjustable base feet for accurate adjustment; tough steel drawer sides and slides; and clip-on toe kicks. Appliances and kitchen accessories are also available from Mitre 10.

Nouveau Kitchens are delivered assembled to your home ready for installation. You can do this yourself, or alternatively, Mitre 10 can recommend a professional to complete the job.

All hardware and hinges are supplied with a lifetime warranty, and tops and cabinets come with a five-year warranty.
