With natural materials connecting the house to its surroundings, granite featured prominently in the design. A specialist stone supplier provided the required products, including custom elements specified by the design team.
Granite World provided and installed all the granite and engineered stone countertops for the home, says general manager Gordie Sarret.
"In addition, we supplied all wall tiles for the project, with the exception of one bathroom," says Sarret. "For these elements we worked directly with Mr Coletti and his design team to accomplish the look they wanted within the budget specified."
Granite World's goal on this project was to provide Sun West Custom Homes with a product that would stand out in the Parade of Homes tour.
"Our custom detailing, such as mitering all the tile corners and bookmatching the granite counter laminations, was an important part of this," says Sarret. "Clients appreciate little things like these the longer they reside in their home essentially, attention to fine detail and full customer service are our points of difference."
