Many successful businesses start from small beginnings, and they all have one thing in common a clear vision.

It was a vision for design innovation that spelled success for Cass Brothers, a bathroomware business that was started nearly 40 years ago, by brothers Stan and Nick Cass. The small plumbing supply business in Petersham has grown and expanded, as Cass Brothers has rejuvenated countless bathrooms across the Sydney region.

Ross Cass, at the helm of the company today, has a passion for design that has not only changed the scope of Cass Brothers' product base, but also helped transform the bathroom industry.

"For a long time, bathroom design in this country was unadventurous and limited," Cass says. "But in the '80s, there were a few of us who fell in love with the innovative concepts coming out of Europe. We took a gamble and introduced some ground-breaking designs, which just took off."

That approach is reflected in the company's line-up today. Quality brands include Gessi, Villeroy & Boch, Parisi, Duravit, Caroma, Hansa, Paco Jaanson, Newform, Kaldewei, Studio Bagno and Carrera.
