Culinary character
Carefully observing the needs and wants of its clients, Dream Kitchens custom designs spaces to suit individual life and cooking styles

Different cooks look for different attributes in a kitchen. Dietary or ethnic requirements, or individual cooking style, may determine the layout or the appliances required.
Creating kitchens tailored to those who use them is a speciality of Dream Kitchens. President Rick Glickman says this kitchen was created to the specific requirements of a kosher cook.
"Two sets of dishwashers, sinks and ovens are provided. Ease of use is ensured through the thoughtful placement of appliances the two ovens are located on either side of the cooktop, so they are both accessible while cooking."

Angled side cabinets on the island also help the home cook move around the kitchen easily, says Glickman.
"The shape of the periphery cabinets echoes the shape of the island, so there are no awkward spaces or bumped hips from sharp corners. Multi-level islands provide space for hot dishes to stand while other food is being prepared."
The homeowner's aesthetic requirements for the kitchen were also taken into account. In order to highlight a large collection of crockery, Dream Kitchens designed many open display areas. The island features illuminated cabinets with cross-reeded glass doors, creating a subtle showcase for glassware.
