Comfort and relaxation are key elements in upholstered furniture from Natuzzi, whether it's sophisticated or casual in style

Asuccessful piece of furniture is a result of a number of factors. Creative design is essential, but it also needs to be supported by the best choice of materials and by professional craftmanship.

Italian furniture designer and manufacturer Pasquale Natuzzi, of Natuzzi, has been producing residential upholstered furniture since 1959. This range is now exported around the world.

Styles range from sophisticated leather sofas, suited to up-market New York apartments, to romantic styles that will be at home in a traditional country sitting room.

Innovation is a feature of other Natuzzi ranges. For example, some Natuzzi sofas and chairs can have their appearance changed from urban to casual, simply by adjusting the coverings, colors and accessories. Other sofas and chairs feature bases and arms in a mix of wood or steel, with fabric or leather upholstery.

Sofas from Natuzzi are available in sizes from long, low, models for a contemporary look to small-scaled love seats with Art-Nouveau detailing.

Flexibility is another important concept for Natuzzi. Its collection includes a low-backed sofa with arms that can be removed and rearranged to suit most seating needs.

Natuzzi's approach to solo seating is to design pieces that allow you to recline, relax and rest. The Chaise Sasha, a result of collaboration between Natuzzi and Japanese designer Kita, features hidden arms, feather down cushioning and a counterweighted headrest for maximum comfort. The chair balances on a metal swivel base and a headrest may be removed or adjusted as needed.
