Créme de la créme
Large paved areas linked by a narrow pathway add a crisp look to this outdoor setting, which features Akarana pavers from Jagas Paving
Continuity and contrast are the two elements that work together to create a distinctive landscape. Whether it's shades of light and dark, a combination of large and small forms, or a seamless flow between areas of interest, such attention to detail can transform an outdoor setting.
To create a dramatic look for this landscape, the designer alternated large paved areas with crisp green lawns and box hedge borders. Akarana pavers from Jagas Paving were specified for their light cream tones and smooth finish.
Visually, the pavers tie together the different landscaping elements. They also feature on the veranda steps.
Jagas Paving owner Robert Sweet says that Akarana, like all pavers in the Platinum range, has a natural appearance, with subtle colour variations and a softly weathered look.
"The combination of quality materials and the Jagas manufacturing process provides high-performance pavers and colours," he says.
Jagas paving is available in a variety of colours, textures and sizes. The company can also customise pavers to suit.
Jagas Paving recommends using an Accredited Jagas Paving installer. For this project, the pavers were installed by Philip Morris of Landscene Landscaping.
"An experienced installer will ensure the paving is laid with the precision needed to create a sharp, professional look," says Sweet.
