Porcelain offers a clean-lined, non-porous surface that combines the sleek look popular in contemporary design with the low-maintenance benefits of a hard surface. However, its heavy weight has meant it is usually only available in standard tile sizes.

The introduction of Kerlite Porcelain to Australia means it's now possible to use this attractive, hard-wearing surface in a wider variety of applications.

The 3mm-thick vitrified Kerlite slabs are available in sizes up to 3m by 1m. The large format enables it to be used a porcelain cladding indoors and out for as wide variety of applications. As Kerlite is cut to whatever size is required, there are minimal joints.

In addition to offering design flexibility, Kerlite is water, scratch and stain resistant, fire retardant and graffiti proof.
