When a company has a reputation for high-end kitchen design, it's natural to look to it for the next big thing. This could be the latest integrated technology or refined cabinet detailing or possibly both together.

The advanced SieMatic S2 Kitchen has recently been released in New York, says general marketing manager Hans Henkes.

"The streamlined next-generation SieMatic S2 design offers a host of new features, including the integration of high-tech electronics that raise the bar in terms of modernity and convenience in the kitchen," says Henkes. "Topping the list of innovations is its multimedia center, which features SieMaticGrid, an award-winning graphic user interface developed by SieMatic that controls the internet and a host of other media selections."

The media center is housed within SieMatic's distinctive cabinetry with its recessed grips and linear forms, designed for a living-room feel. In addition, the media monitor pulls out and swivels, so it can be viewed from anywhere in the room.

A premier interior drawer system in light oak combined with elements of white porcelain, extendable shelves, and storage pullouts are some other features.
