Working together, Connect and Telecom devised a technology solution that is futureproof and in keeping with the building's Green Star energy efficiency rating.

"Connect invested hundreds of hours to create an intuitive, user-friendly interface that enables staff to use the technology without prior training," says Rosnell. "The scope of the project included 193 rooms, from small meeting rooms through to a 300-seat multipurpose conference facility."

Connect NZ is partnering with Telecom again to provide a similar system for its Wellington offices. Once completed, this project will bring further technological alignment between the two sites and create a transferable user interface.
