Colonial style
The owners of this home had their new kitchen designed and built by the same company making the process easy

When it came to remodeling their kitchen, the owners of this 1913 Colonial Revival home had some key layout issues they wanted to address. The old kitchen didn't work well for entertaining, nor did it suit the needs of a family.
The owners envisaged an open-plan kitchen and family room which could be used for entertaining, yet would keep the work area out of sight. They wanted the cabinetry and color scheme to match the style of the house.
Home Rebuilders Design/Build was appointed to the task. The company specializes in design and build projects, both large and small. The professional staff includes architects, kitchen designers and builders meaning the company can take responsibility for a project from start to finish.

Home Rebuilders' director of marketing, Karen King, says the process is convenient for homeowners.
"The process is a turnkey operation, making it convenient for today's busy homeowners and working couples," she says.
The owner of the home shown here was used to having a desk tucked into the old pantry, and liked being able to work in the hub of the home. Home Rebuilders' design team came up with this personal office adjoining the kitchen.
