The process takes between 90 and 180 minutes, depending on the state of your oven, and can be done by setting the timer at night. For safety, the oven door automatically locks during this function, and only releases once the temperature in the oven drops to a safe level.

This oven also features 10 cooking functions, including fan forced, conventional bake, half-grill and rotisserie. For convenience, it switches off automatically when the door is open and has an electronic programmable clock and timer.

Another development from Smeg is a new horizontal dishwasher. At 90cm wide and 58cm deep, the Horizon can be integrated below the benchtop or built into a wall column at a convenient height.
