Cabinetry throughout the Wellington Regional Hospital was supplied by Sockburn Joinery
In order to efficiently and hygienically treat the hundreds of patients who come through the doors each day, staff at Wellington Regional Hospital need to be well organised.
To assist staff and ensure the safety of medical products, Capital & Coast District Health Board specified the storage requirements for each room in the hospital. Sockburn Joinery was contracted to fulfil these needs throughout the five floors of wards and theatre suites.
With 36 years in the joinery business, Sockburn Joinery has a great deal of experience in producing residential and commercial joinery, as well as more recently joinery for larger scale projects throughout New Zealand. The company has increased its production capabilities by investing in advanced technology and KD form manufacturing.
Aside from creating cabinetry such as that required for the Wellington Regional Hospital, Sockburn Joinery also works alongside interior designers and architects to produce shelving, wall panels and built-in furniture for every kind of project.
