If you are about to invest in a new bathroom, you want to be assured it won't go out of style in 10 or 15 years. The solution? Take the classical design approach, with a bathroom suite that is versatile enough to complement a variety of diverse decors.

Kohler's new Archer Suite has a transitional aesthetic that forgoes passing trends to bring an enduring, classical look to bathroom design.

Mike Chandler, vice president of marketing for Kohler Fixtures, says the suite still delivers considerable design pizzazz, however.

"The transitional aesthetic of the Archer Suite is achieved by blending the subtle design elements found in Craftsman furniture's chamfering techniques, and the intricate facets of jewelry," he says. "This combination of beveled edges and curved bases creates a classic look that appeals to an array of design motifs."

The Archer Suite offers a comprehensive assortment of bathroom fixtures and faucets. It includes undercounter, self-rimming and pedestal basins, a petite vanity, baths including BubbleMassage¢ baths and whirlpools, a shower receptor, mirrored cabinet, and a two-piece Comfort Height¢ toilet.

"The broad mix of products in the suite allows homeowners to select the fixtures and faucets that meet their bathing and grooming needs, as well as the space configurations of their specific bathroom layout," says Chandler.

Baths include 5ft and 6ft models, in both drop-in and apron-front designs. Each of the baths, including the whirlpools and BubbleMassage baths, features a 19-inch step-over height with a narrow front threshold, which makes it easier to climb in and out.

"Even though these baths are a couple of inches shorter than typical baths, they feature an interesting design detail that creates the same deep soaking experience found in standard-height baths," says Chandler. "The extra water depth is gained by positioning the overflow drain near the rim of the bath."
