Success has many spin-offs. Doubling in size over four years provided insurance company Lumley with an opportunity to raise its profile, a highly visible presence on the Auckland skyline

Versatile workspaces with the ability to adapt to changing organisational needs were essential for the Lumley office fit-out. The workspace solution needed to create a supportive, positive work environment.

Melissa Johnston, sales executive for workstation supplier Vidak Davies, says that as the brief was generic, the challenge was to provide a workspace solution that Lumley Insurance could trust to last the distance.

"It also needed to reflect the company's culture, and empower staff to perform," she says.

"The Motion desk and screen system provided the ideal solution. This system features adjustable, freestanding desks, privacy screen, wire wizards and cable snakes for cable management."

Desks feature Prime white melamine tops and Oyster powdercoated frames. The fabric-covered Motion screens are pinnable, and have a top rail for hanging accessories. There are also mobile drawer units and screen-hung shelves for each workstation.
