One of the design objectives of this project was that it would be both suitable for its immediate purpose as accommodation for athletes and would ao have a longer-term use.

Bayside Construction and Plumbing Services designed and co-ordinated all the major plumbing works for Parkville Gardens, with the objective that once the units are no longer needed by athletes for accommodation, they will be converted into marketable units and homes.

The company constructed the below-ground sewer and storm water, tanks, roofing and flashings, spoutings, metal fascias and ducted heating units. It also designed and installed the equipment required to generate solar hot, recycled and reclaimed water, and to harvest rain water. All products used in the project were chosen by Australand.
