Catering to all custom cabinetry in kitchen redesign by Hewe Kitchens

The kitchen designed by Robyn Labb forms part of a modern extension to a classic house. The custom cabinetry fits with both styles and brings a wealth of storage functionality.

Hewe Kitchens made the cabinetry for this kitchen to designer Robyn Labb's specifications, says director Craig Hewetson.

"The cabinet doors are panelled with curved detail beading to match the existing home's architecture and elements such as batten ceilings and high skirting boards that were carried over into the new dining, living and kitchen space," says Hewetson. "We mitred the corners of the drawers where they meet the cabinet ends, creating a sleek, fitted aesthetic.

"All cabinets boast push-to-open doors and the double drawers are accessed with negative-detail handles adding to the clean-lined feel. In addition, they include Blumotion Soft-close technology, for a safer, quieter kitchen."

Hewe Kitchens also installed the floating shelves and display lighting.
