Traditionally a catchword for well-made, efficient appliances, the JenAir range is now readily available in New Zealand
An appliance range with an enduring reputation for efficiency and style is often still sought after, even when no longer readily available off the showroom floor. A wise distributor will pick up on this perceived consumer need and reunite product with discerning customer.
The JenAir range has traditionally had a strong profile in New Zealand. However, in recent years it has been a harder to acquire a JenAir oven, cooktop, or refrigerator. Now appliances importer and distributor Mayco has changed this.
A refrigerator-freezer and double wall oven form part of this sought-after range, says Maytag spokesperson Robyn Sharp.
"While stand-out good looks are an important part of JenAir appliances, they also offer broad functionality," she says.
Behind the JenAir pyrolytic double oven's curved glass and stainless steel frontage lie several helpful features, such as a hidden bake element, halogen lighting, and multi-mode convection cooking.
The JenAir Trio refrigerator-freezer, also seen here, is equally well featured. Advantages include spill-proof, slide-out shelving and a glide-out freezer drawer.
Another innovative JenAir appliance is a downdraft cooktop that eliminates the need for an overhead rangehood as cooking fumes are extracted below the bench.
