To create an interior that was sleek and modern yet still inviting, Denton Homes engaged Nicom Interiors to design and construct the entire interior of this home. In turn, Nicom Interiors sourced Eleven Eleven Design to work with.Managing director of Nicom Interiors, Domenic Lombardo, says that this project was different from the outset."This is a house with an individual design aesthetic, which we oversaw from beginning to end. We worked closely with Eleven Eleven to provide the fit-out, including all finishings throughout the house," he says.Nicom created the joinery and selected and installed all stone and timber fittings. It also sourced and installed light fittings, taps, door handles and mirrors. Lombardo says that the aim was to use different materials and colours to create an ambience that can be felt as soon as you open the front door."We put a lot of thought into selecting the material palette for this project, and the way the materials work together is a feature of the house," says Lombardo."As we also work in commercial and retail fit-outs, we're used to providing a flexible range of interior solutions to suit any space. For this house, we were able to use timber, stone and leather to create a layered aesthetic," he says. "We're accustomed to working around the needs of our clients while ensuring attention to detail."The kitchen features polyurethane doors, CaesarStone benchtops and an extensive scullery. In the bedroom, quarter-cut rift veneer in black ebony was used to add a sense of drama and the doors to the walk-in wardrobe are panelled with Gosh Andes Brown Sugar leather insets.
