Light and privacy are controlled at a touch of custom-made blinds from Jaleigh Blinds
Custom-made blinds provide units with privacy and better sunlight control. Jaleigh Blinds & Curtains provided these for all six units, using two high-tech materials, says director David Farren.
"Mermet M-Screen fabric in charcoal was used for blinds in the living areas," says Farren. "This is in a half basket weave, and provides thermal and visual comfort, as well as optimal transparency."
Bedroom blinds are in Comet, a material by Australian company Wilson Fabrics, in the colour Truffle. This back-coated, blockout fabric provides an efficient insulator and privacy shield.
Aesthetically, the blinds contribute to the units' minimalist decor. They are all chain-driven roller blinds with anodised base rails and metal chains.
"Roller blinds have grown in popularity over recent years," he says. " They offer a streamlined, modern look, and don't clutter the room. They are available in blockout, translucent or see-through. Pace chose these products for their versatility."
Jaleigh Blinds & Curtains measures, manufactures and installs the blinds, prioritising when completion deadlines require a quick response time.
