There's nothing more inviting than a sparking pool or a bubbling spa, but it takes a bit of work to keep it that way. And let's face it, when you're busy, swimming and spa pool maintenance can be a hassle.

That's precisely when it pays to call in the professionals at MD Pool & Spa. Owner Matt Digby has been maintaining and repairing swimming and spa pools for 18 years the past nine of those years working for his own company.

"The business has been built on word of mouth and trust," he says. "We service pools at many high-end properties with rigorous security systems in place. Our clients are often out of town and need to know they can put their trust in MD Pool & Spa Services."

Digby says he has seen a huge rise in spa pool servicing, with the firm servicing between six and eight spa pools a day, in addition to its numerous swimming pool servicing contracts.

"We test the quality of the water and the chemical balance, and also clean the pools," he says. "For safety reasons, the chemistry must be exactly right."

But providing pool valet services is just one aspect of the job. The company also repairs pools and has spare parts for spas, including models that are no longer in production.
