A beautiful marble Vedic statue was installed as a feature inside the gate, while the landscape design also incorporates a large section of a Balinese carved wall and two carved wall hangings from Bali. Planting consists of a tropical theme using bamboo and bamboo palms to line the boundary wall – creating a lush environment. Bromeliads and groundcovers with textural foliage are used along with impressive mature cycads to create the colourful palette that is a fitting complement to the Balinese-style home. The final landscape design also creates a harmonious outdoor living area. This includes an outdoor kitchen and fire, a spa, pétanque area, toilet and shower, and the pool area generally – all used extensively by the homeowners' adult children and all their friends, as well grandchildren.
