All-round chic

All spaces in the apartment were considered in their wider context and the custom kitchen was no exception. The clean-lined, modern kitchen continues the strong, cool tonal palette.

Canadian cabinet maker Irpinia Kitchens manufactured and supplied the semi-industrial style kitchen, together with cabinet elements in the living spaces. In the kitchen, the owner wanted to maintain an emphasis on stainless steel and glass, with cabinetry in a similar finish. A stainless steel effect laminate was used in conjunction with aluminum and frosted glass upper cabinets. A white gloss laminate contrasts with the metal aesthetic and ties back to white stone countertops and furniture in similar tones in the adjacent dining nook.

The company also designed the wood veneer cabinet in the living area shaped to contain a sculptural Bang & Olufsen television.
