All-round chic

In a home shaped by modern aesthetics it is not surprising to find the master bathroom contains a tub that is something of a sculptural event in its own right.

Ridenour Group created the Brahea tub that takes center stage in the apartment's bathroom. The tub was chosen by designer Lisa Bada.

"I selected the tub principally for its looks," says Bada. "And setting it on a raised floor adds to its presence within the bathroom."

In addition, the Brahea is as comfortable as its appearance suggests. Besides smooth lines inside and out, it also has an air feature, releasing bubbles into the water to caress and massage the bather's skin. This freestanding tub is made from tough acrylic, with the waste and overflow constructed in solid brass and finished in chrome.
