T o complement the slender form of this 61-level apartment building, the design incorporates an aluminium curtain wall facade and aluminium canopy glazing on the ground floor.
For the podium and tower, Permasteelisa designed, fabricated, supplied and installed these elements. The company specialises in curtain wall facades and aluminium cladding, and also designed, manufactured and installed the balcony screens, balustrading, winter gardens, louvres, and sliding doors and panels in the apartments, as well as the revolving doors on the ground floor of the building. Engineering challenges solved by Permasteelisa included the double-height curtain wall panels in the plant room and the Level 59 penthouse. Aluminium work is finished in a high-performance powdercoat paint. The company worked on the apartment tower and podium at Freshwater Place.
