All about lifestyle
Built around lanes and squares, restaurants and meeting places, Freshwater Place offers refined living amongst the bustle of inner city life
In a project of this scale, it's important that every detail is of an equally high standard. To achieve the same level of finish throughout the apartments, the bathrooms are all finished in agglomerated marble tiles.
SMG Stone supplied 10,000m² of Rover agglomerated marble tiles for the floors and walls in the bathrooms at Freshwater Place. The product is manufactured in Italy from marble fragments, which are mixed with polyester resin to produce a block. This is then cut into slabs or tiles in various sizes and thicknesses. Rover has made and supplied its marble products since 1954.
The slabs and tiles are hard-wearing, long-lasting and easy to lay. Because of the precise manufacturing process, Rover is able to offer uniformity of colour and pattern. It is available in large quantities and can be supplied in a short time frame. The colour selection is very broad, and project designers can contribute to the creation of new colours and patterns.
