Freshwater Place contains a mix of apartments that will appeal to a variety of single people, couples and families of different ages and lifestyles. As a result, the living arrangements in the apartments differ throughout the building.

Michael's Appliance Centre was asked to supply the kitchen appliances for the full range of apartments. The company looked at a selection of appliances and took into account factors such as design and price, before specifying from both the Miele and Smeg ranges.

Trade sales manager Christopher McCarthy says the company considered the size of the apartments and the likely needs of future owners.

"Often, an apartment building is fitted out with the same appliances throughout, but, in Freshwater Place, Australand was keen to develop a variety of styles in different apartments," he says.
