Ample storage space can be just as important as a functional layout when it comes to good kitchen design. To achieve a workspace that caters to every aspect of your time spent in the kitchen, visit a kitchen manufacturer that specialises in tailored solutions.

Degabriele Kitchens are renowned for creating well-appointed kitchens that range from the classic to the contemporary, says director Sam Degabriele.

"The central focus of every project is accommodating a client's specific needs."

The workspaces crafted by Degabriele Kitchens on these pages both incorporate space-creating ideas, including plenty of drawers which are fitted with organisational features.

However, the similarly styled and fitted kitchens also have many differentiating features.

The honey-toned kitchen cabinetry shown on this page is finished in a blend of satin polyurethane and veneers. The steel legs elevate the cabinets off the floor, enhancing the room's feeling of space.

Other issues of space were addressedin the kitchen featured above and right. Both the formal, cherry-veneered cabinetry and the benchtops are set deeper than standard to accommodate the owner's refrigerator. This extra depth has been used to create a raised hob on the benchtop, which is finished in CaesarStone.
