Being on holiday should be relaxing.So it's not surprising that the owners of the holiday home featured on this page wanted their new bathroom to reflect the pampered luxury of a fine hotel.

Hebden Kitchens & Bathrooms was commissioned to transform three small rooms a laundry, toilet and bathroom into one larger space. Designer Vanessa Cook says the owners wanted the room to offer a "hotel experience".

Contemporary fixtures and fittings were chosen, and new windows added to lighten the room. Special features include a Kohler Englefield Emerald corner tub on a raised plinth, and a large walk-in shower.

To provide a colour contrast, the vanity cabinetry features Formica Zanzibar in a velvet finish, which creates a three-dimensional effect. The vanity has a stone composite top and twin basins.
