Obamas purchase family home
Months after leaving 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the Obamas have purchased a home they were previously renting
The famous family certainly can’t want for more with their new Kalorama Heights home in Washington, D.C. After renting the property for several months, they’ve elected to purchase the house. It was originally built in 1928, with a major renovation carried out in 2011. While smaller than the White House, this house has nine bedrooms and eight- and a half-bathrooms. It’s also got room for ten cars in the courtyard. Original story from Trulia
