Winning aesthetic
It requires exceptional design skills to take out a Supreme Award at the Ellerslie Flower Show Palmco's lead designer had expert backing
A sure step towards achieving your ideal outdoor living space is to approach a landscape designer recognised by his or her peers. Recognition doesn't come any stronger than a Supreme Award at the country's most patronised garden show.
Palmco's head designer Adam Shuter has won a Supreme Award for Design and Construction at the Ellerslie Flower Show. Not content with this, Shuter and Palmco also attracted New Zealand Gardens Trust Garden of National Significance status for a project on show at Palmco's 26ha palm plantation in the Bay of Islands.
"These high-profile awards reflect our ability to conceptualise and carry through on the design, construction and upkeep of a variety of garden projects," says Shuter. "The awards are personal career highlights for myself and a source of pride for all Palmco's design and landscape teams."
Palmco's expansive palm plantation has mature specimens of palms, cycads and under plantings many featured in Shuter's prize-winning gardens.
Whether it's a chic inner-city garden or a grand commercial project, Palmco has the stock and skill base to make it happen anywhere across the upper North Island.
