Designer: The Little Brick StudioAbout the project: The open plan, ground floor living area is certainly the star in this home. Instead of sectioned-off areas, the designers brought the primary spaces together. Walk down the hallway, and you'll be greeted with a long, white kitchen off to the side of the living space. The dining table sits next to the stairway, acting as a kind of stepping stone between the kitchen and lounge.The designers used a glass balustrade to avoid having the stairway interfere with the open feeling of the room.
