Moving to a new showroom presents a business with a variety of opportunities. New products can be put on display, and existing products can be displayed more effectively.

When The Wooden Floor Company relocated to an old villa in Auckland's Mt Eden, it was a golden opportunity to present a much wider selection of its range of engineered timber flooring products. The villa has now been converted into showrooms and office space, all with newly laid wooden floors.

Managing director Peter Watts says in the new showroom customers can see a wide range of flooring styles laid in home-like settings.

With around 30 samples of The Wooden Floor Company's pre-finished timber flooring laid throughout the villa, it is easy for customers to make their selection. The multi-layer floors on display are imported from Swedish flooring manufacturers Kahrs and Europlank in a variety of grains and shades, including dark timbers and blonded products.

"In addition, our in-house designer is on hand to advise clients on the best floor type and style for their needs," he says.
