High-end kitchens are a key feature of apartment interiors at the Lumiére Residences. IJF Australia was selected to complete the joinery fit-out for the project based on the company's ability to manufacture and install the joinery to the required detail, specifications and tight tolerances.

IJF Australia, a company with considerable experience in apartment, corporate and hospitality fit-outs, was contracted to manufacture and install kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and miscellaneous joinery. The company also provided detailed lobby panelling, which is a stand-out feature of the building.

General manager Mark Warton says IJF worked closely with Multiplex and the designers to achieve the high standard of finish and the level of detailing required.

"The mix of materials and the tight tolerances made this a particularly challenging project," he says. "Joinery in the kitchens, for example, features a combination of stainless steel, glass and stone, as well as lacquered cabinets."

Warton says the flush, seamless finish of the cabinetry also determined the need for a precise finish in keeping with the high standard of specification.
