Two sides to every story
Louvres allow natural light in, as well as providing privacy when needed
The northern face of this house was designed to allow in as much light as possible. However, so that the owners remained comfortable indoors and out on hot days and to prevent furniture from fading Manning specified louvres from LouvreTec.
The vertical corner outside the master bathroom has a motorised 200 Louvreline Louvre Panel, so the owners can enjoy a bathroom space filled with natural light without privacy issues, says LouvreTec's Chris Duke.
"Brackets were designed and built by LouvreTec to support the Louvre Panels. These prevent the view from being blocked by the corner posts."
Hand-adjustable 200 Louvreline Panels were installed on the sides of the two upstairs balconies, which are accessed from the bedrooms.
LouvreTec Opening Roofs are installed downstairs. Two motorised 180 Linear Opening Roofs on the outdoor patio roof allow the space to be shaded or flooded with light if desired.
