From fashion to furniture, history has proven that simplicity is so often the key to timeless design. The classic design lines that emerged out of the 1930s inspired both form and function throughout the following decades, and are still influencing designers today.

The many lines of interior furnishings and accessories available at Holly Hunt showrooms are a testament to this history, says marketing director Carey Lennox.

The company designs, makes and showcases quality, custom-made home furnishings including furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles, leather and accessories that pay tribute to both high fashion and classic design. Christian Liaigre designs are the most important part of the collection, says Lennox.

"We showcase the Christian Liaigre collection on the first floor of our A&D Building showroom in New York, which is a major anchor space in the building," she says.

"Liaigre's worldwide success over the last decade reflects the popularity of his modern, elegant and simple designs."
