TIDA Australia 2017 – Imported kitchen winner – Bijl Architecture

From the designer: Situated at the edge of a national park, the Burrawong House initiates a new affinity between the existing dwelling and its bushland site through a series of considered insertions and additions. Desiring an immersive experience of the tranquil setting, the clients required he everyday living spaces to reinforce the established north-south orientation and expand the views to the bush, all while improving natural lighting, ventilation and indoor/outdoor connection.
