Two months ago husband and wife, GJ Gardner Papamoa franchisees Shane and Kirsty,  went up against each other for public vote with their masculine and feminine styled showhomes.

The winner would donate $5,000 towards their chosen charity, the Prostate Cancer Foundationfor the masculine showhome (see here www.gjgardner.co.nz)  or the Breast Cancer Foundationfor the feminine showhome (see here www.gjgardner.co.nz).

The votes have now been tallied and the winner with 483 votes to 285 is… Shane and his masculine house!

Shane's industrial inspired home was the favourite and his charity, The Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand will receive $5,000.

Materials like wood with black contrasting panels and cement give off a harder edge to fit with the manly theme. The open plan house features a workshop and outdoor area perfect for summer barbecues. In other words, it's any man's dream house.
