Textural richness
With patterns ranging from modern geometrics to classic trellises and florals, carpets from Glen Eden will suit both contemporary and traditional decors
A patterned carpet adds a dramatic element to the interior design of a home, but this effect can be achieved without having a bright or multi-colored floor. Instead, a textured carpet can be more subtle.
Glen Eden Wool Carpets offers two new styles of 100% wool carpet, both of which feature patterns achieved through textural variations. The Logan Square is a woven wilton box pattern of blocks, each featuring a sub-tile stria in the background.
Vice president of sales and marketing Eric Schaff says that this pattern creates an interesting balance between modern and traditional elements, making the Logan Square an extremely versatile carpet that is well-suited to the style of most homes.
Another design, Reserve, has a trellis pattern with a florette on each corner of the trellis.
"This pattern gives a beautiful-looking carpet that complements traditional interiors," he says.
Both ranges are available in a selection of colors. Glen Eden also offers a customized service, designing carpets and rugs for a variety of situations in tufted, natural fiber and woven wilton finishes.
