As our cities grow larger, townships such as Albany are becoming increasingly sought after. Counter to the trend towards quickly erected new housing, developers Le Marc have created eight solid brick and Linea weatherboard townhouses in the area, complete with all modern amenities.

Le Marc chose Yellowfox to design the interiors of these homes. The company's owner, Marc Scheib, says Yellowfox was the obvious choice, due to its continued exposure to the latest design styles.

"Yellowfox has close connections with many companies in the building industry. They are known for their constant endeavour to produce top results, and their creative and highly finished rooms."

Yellowfox designer Jo Paratene put together two colour-scheme options. The first was a cool palette, using Resene Double Sea Fog throughout. In the bathrooms and kitchens, Bestwood Melamine cabinets in Ash Pinstripe, from Interion, contrast with the Bestwood Melamine Simply White on-bench pantries.

"The second, warmer scheme features Resene Half Tea walls, with Bestwood Melamine Ebony Oak in a woodgrain finish for the bathroom and kitchen cabinetry," says Paratene.
