A s the apartments are intended largely for owner-occupiers, it was important that the interior finishes and appliances represented on-going added value.

Bosch has worked with the Sunland Group on various residential projects in both Victoria and Queensland, says David McGrath, Queensland commercial manager for BSH Home Appliances.

"Newstead Terraces has specified the same product for each apartment," says McGrath. "Specifically, the developer was after a quality product that was affordable and a value-add."

Bosch is one of Europe's leading appliance manufacturers, offering Classic, Lifestyle and Premium ranges. Appliances from the Classic range were chosen for Newstead Terraces.

Central to the kitchen in terms of style and practicality, the Multifunction Bosch Oven offers four heating methods hot air, defrost, variable grilling for larger surfaces and hot air grilling. Behind the grey, contemporary-look exterior is a range of user-friendly features, such as an EcoClean self-cleaning system and a full glass inner door.

The stainless steel Gas Cooktop is also from Bosch. A safety-conscious design includes side-integrated knobs and a flame-failure device fitted to each burner.

"To clear the air while cooking, the Bosch Slideaway Rangehood has a powerful two-speed single motor and two-stage fan," says McGrath.

Bosch's final contribution to Sunland's spacious, contemporary kitchens is a stainless steel, built-in dishwasher. This appliance is also intelligently designed and simple to operate. It includes a spacious 14-setting capacity and quiet operation.
