Spoilt for choice

With the pace of life becoming ever more frantic, the bathroom is often the only place we can truly relax, indulge ourselves and get away from it all. So, it's important to make it a private retreat that reflects your personal style.

The new Grohe Articulation series of bathroom faucets and shower products was conceived with this very idea in mind.

Jeff Carney, Grohe vice president of marketing North America, says Articulation is a comprehensive, premium range of design-focused products.

"Precision engineering and co-ordinated styling are key features of the Articulation series," says Carney. "To cater to a wide variety of personal tastes, the designs range from the purist and avant-garde through to more traditional styles."

Described by Grohe as "unconventionally hip", the Tenso line offers an exciting reinterpretation of the cylinder as a basic form. The spout and handle are integrated as parallel cylindrical curves that give the effect of concentric circles.

Tenso is Grohe's first line to include a tall,13-in, deck-mount vessel faucet in addition to the standard centerset lavatory style.

To ensure uniform styling in the bathroom, the cylinder motif is carried through the Tenso line, with a matching tub spout, pressure balance valve trim, towel bar and ring, robe hook and paper holder. Tenso is available in chrome or InfinityFinish¢ satin nickel finishes.

Characterized by smoothly contoured forms, the Chiara Neu line combines a touch of the traditional with modern European design. The faucet features a gently arched spout and contoured, stirrup-style handle.

Not merely pleasing to the eye, the Chiara's curved faucet spout is designed to direct water to the center of the bowl. The flow and temperature can be adjusted with the light touch of a finger.

The Chiara Neu line includes single-hole and centerset lavatory faucets, a bidet, pressure balance and thermostatic shower valve trim, shower and tub filler valves and co-ordinated accessories.

Another line in the Articulation series is the new Bauhaus-inspired Atrio. With its classical modernist look, this understated design is based on cylindrical forms combined with right angles.

The Atrio bath line includes a new wall-mount vessel faucet, wideset and centerset lavatory faucets, bidets, exposed shower and tub fillers, thermostat and pressure balance valve trim and Roman tub fillers and matching bath accessories.

The Atrio faucet has two handle options: a simple cylindrical lever and a Trio spoked handle. Both come in the new soft, silver finishes Sterling and InfinityFinish Sterling as well as polished chrome and InfinityFinish satin nickel.

All of the faucets in the Articulation series feature Grohe's durable, single-lever ceramic cartridge, and carry Grohe's limited lifetime mechanical warranty.
