Show and tell
To provide a long-lasting surface and clean-lined aesthetic for the kitchen in this new show home, the designer specified CaesarStone benchtops
Designing a kitchen for a show home is all about making an impression. Potential buyers need to be able to put themselves into the picture entertaining guests and cooking for the family in an eye-catching, highly functional kitchen.
When designer Jessica Valintine-Mowll of Carlielle Kitchens designed this kitchen for the Haven show home in McConnell Property's Anselmi Ridge development, she opted for a high-end material palette.
"The kitchen needed to appeal to a broad range of people. It also needed to complement the simple, clean-lined architecture. And it was important to provide a kitchen that would not look dated people expect a kitchen to last 20 years."
The designer specified CaesarStone, in the colour Osprey, from The Laminex Group, for all the benchtops and the waterfall end to the island.
"CaesarStone has a consistency of pattern and colour, and a timeless look," Valintine-Mowll says. "It is also a highly durable material. Even our fabricators rate it highly."
CaesarStone's durability comes from its composition it is made from 94% quartz aggregates, and is stain, heat and scratch resistant.
