A simple, streamlined interior can soothe the soul and refresh the mind. It's a look that helped determine the design of this demonstration kitchen in the Sub-Zero/Wolf Westye F Bakke Training Center, Madison, WI.

Designed by Mick De Giulio of de Giulio kitchen design, the kitchen has a sleek and contemplative nature an ambiance enhanced by the mix of both natural and man-made materials.

De Giulio says that while the kitchen's roots are in simplicity and minimalism, it is not purist minimalism the natural stone, and the wood cabinetry and butcher's block add a sense of visual warmth.
