Cardinal Homes specified blinds from New Zealand Window Shades for the project, says commercial manager Lois Hayson.Luxaflex® 25mm Perfora Aluminium Venetian Blinds in silver were chosen for the living area, says Hayson."Their perforated slats create a translucent effect to maintain a subtle view of the outside even when the blinds are drawn."The home's media room required a specific blind suited to its function. Luxaflex Roller Blinds were specified in Pearl Essence Orchid. View of the bedroom "Finished in 100% blockout fabric with a subtle metallic effect, the blinds provide an optimum movie watching environment. When opened, they transform the space into a light-flooded room," says Hayson.The colour co-ordinated blinds are dust and mould resistant, and have an easy to clean surface. Options of a metal chain and natural anodised or chrome finished bottom rails are available. White, ivory and black-painted rails further increase the decor options.In the main bedroom, Luxaflex Duette® shades in Classic Flowering Cactus were installed."Their pleated honeycomb structure provides insulation while filtering through natural light. The blinds are finished in an anti-static fabric to repel dust," says Hayson. "Sunscreen Roller Blinds were installed in the kitchen and other bedrooms."
