With a good home theatre system you can have front-row seats every night. The new Marantz 50-inch plasma display, AV receiver and DVD player can make it happen
Home entertainment will never be the same again. New technology can now deliver sound and images of a quality scarcely envisaged a few years ago.
The latest advancements from Marantz are a good example. The company's new 50-inch PD5040D plasma screen includes a host of new enhancement technologies to deliver the best picture possible.
Mike Wildash, director of Wildash Audio Systems NZ, the New Zealand distributor of Marantz products, says the new slimline model incorporates a 1365 x 768 high-definition plasma display panel designed to provide heightened image clarity and sharpness. It also offers improved colour accuracy, he says.
The PD5040D provides a choice of picture and aspect ratio modes that are optimised for viewing standard 4:3 and 16:9 widescreen formats.
"With its sleek silver metallic chassis, the PD5040D is designed to complement contemporary interiors," says Wildash.
Marantz has also released the complementary SR2400 AV receiver and DV2400 DVD player, which provide a full-sized home entertainment system.
