Interpreting an architect's design is a skill that kitchen and joinery company Kitchen Image has fine-tuned.

Established in the late 1970s, Kitchen Image specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of kitchen and vanity joinery.

For the Star of the Sea apartment complex, the company was responsible for manufacturing and installing the kitchen designs of architect Christopher Baker from Thrum Architects.

A selection of contemporary and classic kitchens can be found in the complex. All have high-quality granite or marble benchtops, and concealed task lighting. Brushed pewter metallic laminate was used for the kickboards to offset the antique white and woodgrain cabinetry.

Kitchen Image also manufactured and installed the bathroom vanities, laundries and wardrobes. The wardrobes feature woodgrain interiors, 25mm-thick shelving and chrome interior hanging rods and fittings.

The same style of cabinetry doors, developed and supplied by Tesrol Joinery, were fitted throughout the complex. Different handles were used depending on the style of the individual apartment.

Kitchen Image director Peter Remaili says the company's dedication to product development ensures it meets ever-changing market requirements and architectural specifications.

The company is a major supplier of post-formed laminate benchtops, kitchens and vanity products to home builders, medium density housing builders and multi-unit projects throughout New South Wales.
