You can be sure you're onto a winner when your kitchen company is commissioned to design an innovative kitchen for a renowned cooking school.

The Geneva Cooking School kitchen, designed by Geneva Cabinet Company, is just one valuable reference, however. Although the company has been in operation for only a year, it has already had many referrals from clients and builders.

General manager Peggy Helgeson CKD puts the company's early success down to a combination of factors, starting with its innovative approach to finding design solutions.

"Our designers are constantly challenging their own creativity and looking at how design can complement function and form," Helgeson says. "We also offer a very personalized service, and spend a lot of time with clients, talking over their ideas and paying attention to detail."

Geneva Cabinet Company specializes in high-end kitchens, with much of its business coming from both the metro Chicago area and vacation home buyers in the Lake Geneva resort area.

The company's expansive showroom features three major kitchen layouts, and many furniture-like vignettes that encompass the different styles available. Special features include a French pewter countertop, a hammered silver sink, grapevine knobs, and faux paint finishes.
