Part of the ongoing rehabilitation included the eradication of Bitou Bush from the 101ha site, surrounding forest and Wyrrabalong National Park environs. An onsite nursery was also established to grow 75,000 native trees and shrubs for use throughout the development.

The first stage of homes was opened last year, along with the resort and golf club.

"Atypically, all of the infrastructure golf and country club, and resort was completed prior to the launch of stage one," says Tonnet.

"This allows potential buyers to visualise their dream of being a part of Magenta Shores. Eventually, more than 500 homes and resort villas will be built on the site."
